February Xfinity On Demand Highlights

There is a bounty of special programming to keep you entertained this February and we’re here to lay it all out for you at the beginning of each month so you can look at the ol’ schedule and maneuver your DVR around your regularly watched shows.

First, earmark these momentous events for the month:

  • February 10th: The Grammys – Want to see who’s been nominated? Leading up to the show, take advantage of our collection of Grammy Nominee music videos under Music>Music Picks>Grammy Nominees. Then if you want to catch up on parts of The Grammys that you might’ve missed, from February 11 to the 25 we’ll have fresh red carpet recaps and behind-the-scenes content from TV Guide under Music>Music Picks> Grammy Winners .
  • February 5th: Get in the mood, whether you love love or love to hate; we have a Valentine’s Movies collection that launched on the 5th which includes a hearty helping of The Notebook, Titanic, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Pretty in Pink, He’s Just Not Into You, Shrek Forever After and lots more.
  • February 24th: The Oscars – We have a Past Winners collection for you to brush up on your Academy Awards history, including films honored with Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, etc. But if you really want to contribute to the commentary at your friend’s Oscar party, you have to check out the movies that have been nominated for this year. We have a selection of these films such as Beasts of the Southern Wild, Moonrise Kingdom and Ted, among others. Finally, the following night on the 25th, we’ll have a Winners collection set aside for you.   • All month long: Black History Month – Honor Black History with music from Beyonce, Whitney Houston and more, sports programming from ESPN, films and specials such as TV One’s “The Black List” and biographies featuring iconic figures such as Barack Obama and Halle Berry from the Biography Channel.
