Bring your friends and family to a community party thrown by XFINITY from Comcast to help everyone get in the spirit of the Winter Games! Comcast is hosting a free party on Feb. 7, at the Utah Valley Convention Center where everyone can come watch the Opening Ceremony on giant screens, meet Olympic speed skaters Derek Parra and Chad Hedrick, do fun kids’ crafts, enter for giveaways and enjoy Free yummy treats.
The party runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will have something for everyone to enjoy. Kids and parents alike can take photos of and get autographs from Olympic gold medalist speed skaters Chad Hedrick and Derek Parra!
There will be a craft station for kids to make and take home their own medal to inspire them to dream big. Be sure to bring your camera and take your kids’ pictures with their medals while they pose with equipment from their favorite winter sports in front of a backdrop! Or if drawing and coloring is more their speed, they can draw themselves performing their favorite winter sport. Amazing face painters will be ready to help your child pick out the perfect face art to go with the games, and we won’t tell if you want to get a face painting too.
We’ll have giveaways going on all night long at the party at the Comcast booth. And, speaking of prizes, keep your eye on KSL 5 TV on Facebook and you could win gift cards, passes to local attractions and even iPad minis!
