April Xfinity On Demand (and Xfinity Online) Highlights

It’s a new month! That means exciting new content to pencil into your DVR schedule (like the return of Mad Men)!

What you can’t miss this month on Xfinity TV:

  • 2013 MTV Movie Awards: On April 14th, Rebel Wilson (the hilarious gal who stole the spotlight in Pitch Perfect) will be hosting! Captain Kirk, Tony Stark and the Great Gatsby will all be there as well.  Find it under TV Shows>By Network>MTV>MTV Movie Awards.
  • Mad Men: On April 8th, the award-winning AMC drama makes its return for its 6th season. To help refresh your memory, we have bookmarked where season 5 left off, exclusive clips, and an inside look at the season 6 cast from April 7th-22nd. New episodes are available the next day under TV Shows > By Network > AMC > Mad Men.
  • The Voice: The new season launched yesterday, April 1st! This season we have two new judges: Shakira and Usher – watch their music videos and the show under the Top Picks category.
  • Hannibal: is making its buzzed-about debut this week on April 4th on NBC.
  • Coachella: From April 1st-22nd, get the festival experience here with headliners, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phoenix, and much more from the 14th Annual Coachella Music Festival. Find it under Music>Music Picks.
  • Showtime finales and premieres: See the season finales of Shameless, House of Lies and Californication, then get ready for new seasons of Nurse Jackie and The Borgias.  Available under Premium Channels > SHO On Demand.
  • Earth Day is on Monday, April 22nd! From April 16th-30th, we’ll have Earth Day-themed activities, specials, and movies (from Earth Day Kids movie collections).  Watch and learn “How to Make a Reusable Shopping Bag”, “Plant an Egg Carton Garden”, and much more (on Kabillion, Sprout, Disney Junior, Activity TV).   • Same Day as DVD Movies SD/HD: This month there are nine movies being released the same day as DVD and in HD including: Hyde Park On Hudson, Django Unchained, The Impossible, Broken City, A Haunted House, Promised Land, Gangster Squad, The Guilt Trip and Silver Linings Playbook.  Available under Movies > All New Movies.
