Comcast Xfinity TV announced that it is offering another opportunity for customers to watch even more live sports. As of end-of-day on August 15, Xfinity TV customers can access new Pac-12 Networks in these Pac-12 states: Utah; Arizona; California; Oregon; Washington and Colorado.
“Xfinity TV is committed to offering the best content to our customers across multiple platforms and the Pac-12 is a great example of this,” said Rodrigo Lopez, Regional Vice President of Comcast in Utah. “We’re thrilled to provide our customers with more options for accessing a wide variety of sports and compelling programs 24-hours a day. This is a college sports fan’s dream.”
Xfinity TV customers who live within the Pac-12 geographical footprint will receive a network tailored to their regions as well as nationally televised live events. Comcast customers with Digital Starter Service who live in Utah, will be able to watch the PAC 12 Mountain games in SD and HD. Along with the PAC 12 Mountain, customers who also subscribe to the Sports Entertainment Tier will be able to get the Pac12 National Network. In addition, Xfinity TV customers will be able to watch Pac-12 Network content online (live streaming of games) inside and outside of their homes on any digital device, including computers, smartphones and tablets in the future.
The Networks are dedicated solely to the Pac-12 and will include more than 30 football games, more than 120 men’s basketball games and at least five women’s basketball games annually. In addition, they will showcase hundreds of events, offer classic games, studio shows, feature stories and highlights from activities across 12 university campuses.
