On Friday, October 6, 2017, Comcast was awarded with Provo High School’s Education-Business Champion of the Year Award. The award is given to companies that make a significant impact in the school’s community. Comcast worked with Provo High during Comcast Cares Day. Over seven hundred members of the community came together to make needed improvements to the school. Volunteers planted trees and flowers, weeded, updated bleacher stands, and cleaned classrooms, hallways, and windows. Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted the ceremony and it was held at the Utah Valley Convention Center.
